Join Pak Mail in our efforts to reduce, reuse, recycle.
Pak Mail is enrolled in the
Bay Area Green Business Program, a voluntary program which verifies that businesses "meet higher standards of environmental performance." Pak Mail
is committed to complying with all environmental regulations and taking actions to conserve resources, prevent pollution,
and minimize waste. Here are a few things we do to reduce, reuse and recycle waste:
Pak Mail is a convenient
drop-off site for loose fill, corrugated boxes, cell phone and print cartridge recycling. As a member of the Plastic Loosefill Council, Pak Mail accepts all clean reusuable plastic peanuts to divert them from the landfills. Used cell phones are donated
directly to the national "Cell Phones for Soldiers" program to provide calling cards for our troops to call home. Pak Mail's print
cartridge recycling supports Livermore schools through the Funding Factory program. Corrugated
boxes are recycled or reused by community members who request used boxes. We encourage you to:
- Help the ecology, be a humanitarian. Recycle clean loose fill, corrugated boxes, old cell phones and
print cartridges instead of tossing it in the trash.
- Spread the word to others that there is a convenient drop-off site for loose fill, boxes, cell phone
and print cartridge recycling in Livermore.
Please do NOT: - Bring us any recyclable materials not mentioned above. We only
recycle loose fill, corrugated boxes, cell phones and print cartridges and are unable to accept cans, glass
or other plastic.
- Do not leave anything
outside during non-business hours. Doing so could force us to cancel the program.
